If you taken Xanax and want to have a glass of wine or have a beer it is good if you have your liquor 2 hours before you take your Xanax or 2 hours after you drink Don't just take them together as in all medications.That is the safest way without worrying ha we all have to live a little too.

I think it is good for everyone to go thru the misery to remember what you will face again if y ou should pick up that drink again and I say this respectfully as I hve done it twice and it is not worth it. The mind is what is addicted so be careful. AA was my way and I went every day for 3 years and once a week for 10 years and then had a relapse on listerine so it is just a matter of being committed and accepting the fact of your addiction. We are here to help and if you like AA it is the best way and I still go after 30 years.
Xanax is a good medication and I cannot be the one to l you that it is not, I can l you to take it EXACTLY as prescribed, it can help you when taken in the recommended doses but I have seen it abused and it is like watching a horror movie, I have taken it and it has helped but I would not want you to have more problems added to what you have, I wish you the very best, you are in my prayers.
